I love classic rock. Some of todays stuff is okay, but a lot sounds like stuff that had already been recorded.

Yes the older rock music is when the industry was about music. Now is completely about making money. The industry in comepletly focused on what image will see and how much money they can make. Unfortunatly some really good musicians get shoved off to the side because they don't fit the industry standard of what's *It*
Musicians of the past had more freedom to just play what was good. Things were still about money and image but they just had more freedom back then. Without the likes of MTV bands had to sell albums based on the merit of their talent not their wardrobe. Alas, will we ever live to see a time of that when Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, Cream, and The Dead were running the show.

For every decade there's been good music and crappy music. For all the Hendrix and Cream that was out there, there was crap like the Monkees and Fifth Dimension. To wholesale lump together all modern music is ignorant. You gotta know where to look. Either that or you're gonna end up sounding like either an old bitter dude or a young poseur.

I don`t hate the music they make these days but i just think it`s not as good as it used to be(i wish i was born in the 70s).My favourite bands are classic rock bands like AC\DC KISS DEEP PURPLE and i think rock music was at the top then.

Rock quit sounding like rock when metal died. This new stuff is mostly nothing but overcranked, overdistorted power chording. Thats why it all sounds the same. I like to hear a screaming lead guitar in the mix just ripping it up ......Help Eddie Van Halen!! I've been GRUNGED and I cant get up!!!

Yes I like classic rock, just as you! I appretiate your music taste.
I like Queen, Aerosnith, Led Zepplin, even old Black Sabbath stuff,
& I think, music was good until 1994, but when "Brit-pop" came out... it simply ruined everything!
I think nowadays rock, is more likely s-u-c-k, or rather it's a dirty
c-o-c-k for sissies!

I like classic rock. Today's stuff is aweful. There is way to much grunge influence and no one sounds happy when they are singing anymore.
