Kobe in my opinion is an overrated as a clutch player, Chauncey and Horry have lost their touch in the clutch last year, so that leaves D-Wade and Carmelo. carmelo is the best at last second shots but disappears in important games (playoffs). D- Wade steps up his game vs. the best.

I agree with you totally. D-Wade, hands down! The guy brought his team back from a 13 point deficit with 6 minutes left in game 3 of the finals! Could Kobe do that? Melo, Horry, & Chauncey? ...NO. Then in the next finals game he comes out and dropped 43 points. In the closing minutes of the fourth quarter it seemed that Wade made all of his shots to force overtime. Then he made the game winner at the line. Dwyane Wade was so clutch in the finals that no one (out of the above mentioned) can even be compared with him. He did it on both ends of the court, too. He intercepted an alley-oop game winner, came up with steals, and made his jumpers that no critic believed in.
The other players have had the chance to perform like Dwade did.
Kobe - game 7 at Suns.
Chauncey - eastern finals 2006
Horry - he is Wade's best competition
Carmelo - regular season games are another thing. playoffs???

It was Kobe till D-Wade defied logic in the finals this year. All of the others have only shown their stuff in the regular season. Post season is a whole new level of pressure. I'm a 20 year Laker fan but I haven't seen anyone play like Wade played in this years finals since MJ ruled the game.

With having NBA League Pass every year, I see alot of games. Of course...being a Celtics Fan, I will have to say Paul Pierce. With several games on the line, when called upon, Paul delivered.
Wade and Kobe, great players....just not in the clutch. (They Choke) Kobe moreso than Wade.
Carmelo is good in the clutch, but still needs much improvement in his all around game. (Coach K is working on that I hear.)
Anyhow, lets not forget about Pierce, numbers run up every year.

I too being a Celtic fan have seen Paul Pierce pull of a few miracles. I still like Robert Horry, though he may have lost his touch last year, but he has put me on the edge of my seat more than any other player over the years. You can't take it from him, for D. Wade keeps me awake and on my toes when he plays. We will just have to see what happens this year.
