I'd have to ask for specifics, but ... I'd suspect it's the fifth article down, the one with the paedophile, that we're supposed to be discussing.
Judging by the excuses and rationalisations he's making, I'd say the accused is trying to slip free of the very tight noose which, even now, is tightening about his neck.
I just hope they see sense and find that man guilty, put him away for an eternity.
