Why do those on the far right assume liberals hate America?

Why cant they see that we too love America and all it stands for, its just we see it for what it really is, not the lies that are being spoon fed via the government controlled media outlets.I dont want to see America brought down by terrorists, I want America to change its ways and reform and return to the country it can be. I dont want to see my country hi jacked by people who have done just that.

Our once proud nation was hijacked by the republican neocons. Thy used slick slogans repeated very often, and they use radio (Rush) and TV (FOX) to continually hammer home the party slogans. They had the daring to steal two presidential elections, and repeated their message over and over again until it sunk into the dull minds of the majority of Americans. It is mind control to a certain extent, at the least clever manipulation. They created lies about Kerry (Swift) boat that were even proven to be lies, paying people off right and left...and why? Because power is the ultimate drug. If you have power you have everything. Greedy comes in second, and there are tens of billions of unaccounted of dollars from the Iraq war, and now we are finding out from FEMA. hey are the party of big oil and so the price went way up. There are even some extremists who claim that they had prior knowledge of 9/11 or that they actually had a hand in planning it and implementing it so they could implement their nefarious plans. I am unsure about 9/11 at this point, but there were alot of questions left unanswered and somethings don't add up. I believe deep in my patriotic heart that these people do not give a crap about Americans; they only care about holding on to power and putting enough in place that they will be set for their lifetimes. I would bet my house that there are Swiss bank account (or some such), and that there will one day be an investigation that is real concerning the corrupt and criminal Bush Administration.

Conservatives don't think that Liberals hate America. Most of us feel that they just want it to become a socialist county like most of Europe. The government should take from those who worked hard to get where they are at and give it to those to lazy to do more than hold out their hand. That we should turn our backs on the very thing that made America so great.

If Liberals see America as it is, they would see the most giving country, full of people that truly care about others. Just look at the donations given when tragedy happens in other countries and at home. Do you think that it only Liberals that give. Do you think that it is only Liberals that offer a helping hand. You claim that you don't want terrorist to destroy America, but you don't want to do what is needed to deal with these animals. You can't negotiate with someone who wants you dead. Not just all the Conservatives, but you Liberals also.

I don't want to see my country hi-jacked by anyone, Conservative, Liberal or other that is willing to ignore what our founding-fathers created and attempt to recreate America in their image.

Because the things most liberals support are the same things causing this decline of morals and everything this country was founded on. for example:gun control, abortion, the tribe mentality instead of family mentality, welfare, supporting the civil rights of illegals while making it hard on regular americans. there are too many things to name!

It isn't just the far right, but I don't think you actually hate America. But I do think that a lot of you are very mis-informed, naive' and some, not all, are down right stupid. The word liberal comes from the same Latin root as the word liberty, and I believe it is being misused. The so called liberal Dem. party wants to undermine just about everything this country stands for. You want to undermine peoples moral beliefs by forcing our children to study and accept homosexuality as a norm and use junk science to back up your lies, my grandson can't even carry a small Bible in his backpack, because it is considered contraband. He can't say a prayer in school on his own time, because it might offend someone. But to teach him cultural diversity the public school system wants to force him to not only study about the islamic religion, but force him to get on a stupid prayer rug and pray to a false god, The party has been taken over by people like George Soros, Athiests, Homosexuals who want to children into thinking like them, Muslims, people who don't want to prosecute child molesters, people who want the Dist. Supreme Courts to overturn the will of the people when it goes against your agendas, you have outright admitted communists in your party and I could go on. This is why A LOT of peopel think you hate America. You call Bush a Nazi as well as the Republican party when your own party is a cesspool. Zel Miller retired because ot the Dem. party being so foul. He was one of the last decent statesmen in the Dem. party. The rest of this country doesn't want to have socialism forced down our throats. We don't want communism either. You want to give more rights to terrorists than you do the citizens of this country. You want to give illegal aliens the same. The constitution is for U.S. citizens. It doesn't grant rights to illegals. By the way, this is something I don't understand, you hate Bush, but he is more liberal than conservative. I don't get it. Except that he isn't ashamed to say he is a Christian. You distort the Constitution and out right lie about it to make an inane point at every turn. What do you expect people to think. The lib Dem party talks about free speech, but as soon as someone gets up and speaks their mind as the Dems. do, some lib Dem is off to the ACLU to shut them up. A cross offends you take it down, the name of a city offends you , change it. Lets face it, the track record of the Dem party isn't just in the toilet, it has sunk into the sewers. You think the ACLU are a good bunch of people and in truth, they were started by admitted communists back in the 1920s and are still run by admitted communists. Do you need to know more? You say that you love all that it stands for , but you are trying to change all that it stands for. That doesn't make a lick of sense.

The far right lost their #1 enemy when the USSR collapsed and because they cannot exist without an enemy to hate, they picked liberals. If liberals were to be vanquished, they would no doubt splinter and hate each other over minutia .

Those who say this are extremists. Extremists say some goofy sh*t to get people's attention. The important thing is to not fall into the trap of associating everyone on their side of the spectrum with them.

As a former avid listener of talk radio, one of my biggest gripes about them is that they do just that with the left-wing fringe - they show us the leftist whack jobs, and try to get us to associate everyone who's left of center with the kook fringe. It just ain't so.

Because those who say it (and it's only a small set of people who are that fanatical) believe that anyone who disagrees with them must be the enemy.

And since they claim to support America, their enemy must hate America.

It's 2nd-grader type of logic. I like cats. There's a bad dog in my neighborhood that chases my cat. Therefore all dogs must be evil. It's not rational. Just common.

we simply criticize america with the hope that our government will improve for the better, so everyone will be better off!
