don't believe so. this site is for reasonable answers. anyone who takes any serious answers on here is doing so at their own risk. if the person who answered was a "pro" in their field with credentials or certificates or whatever then there may be a slight chance of it. this is more like talking to friends asking for advice, not concrete proof. I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

I don't know how likely prosecution would be, but at least 2 people told a fellow how to commit suicide, and I pity them if there is any tracking of that information if he follows through with it. That kind of advice could be seen as criminally negligent or could result in a civil law suit for negligence.

Definitely yes, if the advice is erroneous and results in harm to the person who uses it.

yes, in a way, it may be that some of these questions, make us really look within ourselves, and the "RISK" we run that we may touch on a thought or feeling that we knew not was buried or hidden

I would think you are only liable if you pose as a professional. if you tell someone your sourec is your own experiance you should not be liable
