I have known my girlfriend for 8 months. We have been seeing eachother for 6 months and have been really serious for about 2 months. I am in love with this woman and her little 6 month old son. I adore this woman. She says she loves me too and loves that I am in her life and also her son's life. Last night we had a big dicussion which came out of no where. She told me that we were taking it way too fast and that she'd like our relationship to be more casual. She says that she needs time because shes only 21 and doesn't want us rushing into anything. She says that i dont want to understand her point of view. I know shes young and wants her freedom but I don't understand...we are very close. we sometimes even act like a married couple. I love her alot, and know she loves me, so what's the problem?
I dont want us to be just friends with benefits or to just be casually dating. I want us to continue our serious relationship. If she loves me, why is she doing this?
What should i do?

when i say "rushing into things" i don't mean sex. we've already had sex. I mean rushing into a very serious relationship leading to marriage...

"I want, I want, I want"....look the lady is telling you what SHE wants! Listen up, Dude! Back off, ok? She has a child to consider. It's not all about YOU! Just be there for her and give her some slack and a little time. When she discovers that she can't live without you, THEN she will want the same thing. Being selfish isn't the way to go, man. well u do kind of have to think about her having a 6 month old baby and being ina serious relationship before u! maybe thats not what she wants right now she doesnt want things to end up the way they did befire left with a baby and the father is elsewhere not saying that u would do that but u have to understand that shes gonna feel a lil insecure about things 4 a while and u havent even been together that long.

hello ,, well it sounds like you have a very creative and intresting relationship well i hope that things work out for you , but why should you be so unhappy well shes trying to make up her mind, you deserve happiness so why wait for someone who does not know what she wants in life,,, she has to love you all the time not when she thinks its right for her... i hope things work out for you ,,,,,

Well she is young. let just try taking it a little slower then you want to and see how it goes from there
