No, you cannot because you are not a legal guardian and you're not even a stepparent. So let the parents handle what ever needs to be handle.

absolutely not if you sign anything for those children then you are responsible for anything that happens to them your bfs ex can take you to court over matters like this if she wants to be a ***** about it the best thing to do is have him sign anything the school needs
