At the time of his election he was the better of two evils. Since his election he has supported those who elected him to a limited degree. If I were given the same choices at the next election I would vote for him again -- but I pray to God that someone qualified to be president runs this time.

I know you said that this is for Pro Bush People, but honestly I am Pro Bush just not Pro President Bush. I am sure he is a great person he just isnt the kind of person we need running such a large nation. I believe that he was only voted in for a 2nd term because we have never changed presidents (except after their 2 terms are up~ the max time allowed) during a war.

As a person I think he is sincere and cares about people. Those times when he gets teary eyed talking about the troops or 9/11 victims, I think those are real tears. I am a traditional conservative. And Bush is not governing based on traditional conservative principles. Sure he pays lip service to them, but he is really governing like a liberal - any problem that comes up he just gets the government involved and throws money at it.

For the most part, I back what he is doing. He cut taxes, which helps the economy. He's going after terrorist, which needs to be done... they just can't be ignored. I wish that he would reduce the size of government instead of allowing more bloat like he has. And I wish that he would take a stronger stand on our boarder security. Overall he's a pretty good leader, if not a good speaker. He stands by his convictions and isn't blown to and fro by every pole. I would rather have a leader that has convictions and stands by them, rather than one that panders to which ever group screams the loudest at any given moment.
BTW: I admire your Tony Blair for many of the same reasons, tho politically he is mostly opposite of what I believe.

George Bush is an intelligent man, good morals, and has proven time and again that he is truly an American worried about the safety of our country. I support him 100%!!! I am a proud young republican and will always support the man!

I like him as a person.
He has a firm belief in his views & doesn't change sides on a whim.
If he was different, his views & policies would be different.
He has taken a mile of $hit from detractors & still hesitates to point a finger.
Time will bear this ouit......
He's one of the better Presidents this Country has ever had.

Honestly, I would say that I like both. I like that he isn't afraid to tell it like it is. I strongly support his policies in Iraq, regarding homeland security, and Afghanistan.

Bush isn't a bad leader, but isn't great. His policies are what gets the vote.
