The man is completely insane. I think it would be a mistake to let him out in society again, that's for sure!

No. Karr should not be imprisoned for saying things about "JonBenet." However, there are other things that, if he is found guilty, he should pay a price for.

If that were the case then we should put Bush in prison for all the crap he is saying about nothing.. What a joke.. They should put this thing (Karr) as far away as they can.. Then go in search of all the other nuts roaming our streets and put them away. But there are too many of them out there so That won't work...

Regardless of what he did or not do, he should not be imprisoned for what he says. That would be a violation of his 1st amendment rights.
He definately is a few fries short of a happy meal, and should be examined by a psychiatrist, but I doubt that they will require this prior to his release.
Its clear from what has been said on the news, that he did not kill her, and he is doing this because he wants attention from the world, since he is a Jon Benet groupie.
He just wants attention.

No, I don't know about that, I would say no.
However, since that weirdo let everybody on a wild goose chase, he should have to pay for the air fare and all expenses involved.
The idea I hear bandied about is that he didn't want to go to prison in Thailand and basically pulled off an elaborate prison break, by suckering the DA to fly him back to the USA.

No, if you could send people to jail for sying stupid stuff, 90% of this country would be behind bars!!!

I think they should send him back to Thailand to finish his sentance there. He obviously was just scheming to get out of there in the first place. I say send him back and let the Thai's deal with him.

I think he should be in prision because first what he did was morally wrong but I also think he could be convicted of hindering the investigation etc.

Nah, but they should find another reason to lock him up. He is disgusting... in the very least, make him pay for his luxury flight that we taxpayers paid for.
