I used to have acne, I went to the doctor's and they gave me minocin mr 100 within a few weeks it was like I'd never had spots, since then I don't get them.
Keeping a clean face at all times is a good method as spots start from blocked pores which then leads to a billed up under neath the skin which can't breath
etc ...I hope this helps

Best solution I have found is to drink the 2 litres of water minimum I should each day and eat a banana. The water flushes impurities out of your body and the potassium in bananas helps the skin fight the infection. Also splash your face with warm water a few times each day. Don't use an abrasive cleanser, it creates more sebum and perpetuates the spots - the companies all want you to buy their products, but really, water to drink and wash and a banana is the best solution I found. I just got totally rid of mine in 30s and would like to get hold of the toad who said they stop at 18!

I swear by Clinique anti blemish solutions products over and above the basics.

1. Drink loads of water.
2. Never go to bed with make up on.
3. Don't pick spots, this will only cause scars.

wash your face very carefully twice a day, never go to bed in make up, get some face scrub to scrub off dead skin cells two/three times a week and drink loads and loads of water!

Oh, and witch hazel is great for tough spots that just don't want to go!

try very hot water in a basin with a little dettol, lean over the basin and cover your head with a towel...............stay under the towel , the fumes will clear your head and get rid of those nasty spots and black-heads with regular repeats of this well tried method in about 10 to 14 days.................P.S. You should also try washing your face with a face-cloth without soap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant really answer this as you dont say if you use a skin care system or not. Maybe wise to edit or re-post your question with alittle more detail about what you use on your skin.
