If you put your stuff up on a Thursday evening on the 10-day auction.
Doing it that way means its advertised over two weekends ending on a Sunday evening, you'll have a much better chance that way.

My best auctions have been 7 or 10 day auctions that end around 7.30pm mid week. Most people are home at this time (kids home from school, adults home from work) so can put in bids at the last second (which is when it really counts). I have always found wednesdays to be a good day, don't have to worry about people going out (Which they are likely to do thurs or fri night).

i think the best day to end your auction on ebay would be a sunday as most people have more time to look on ebay as they work all week long and have time to chill on a sunday

I`ve got to disagree with most people about sunday as i buy off ebay all the time and have let loads of stuff go on a sunday as i`ve been to hungover to go on and check how my bidding is doing,i`d stay clear of the weekend and go for a night during the week.

through personal experience i would say thursday nights, ending after 9pm,when parents have put their children to bed, sundays is a pretty bad day because everyone i have spoken to have trouble accessing ebay,or it runs too slow because so many people are trying to access it,i never let my items end on friday or saturday as thats when most people go the pub, hope this helps, trial and error at the end of the day, good luck:-)

The days don't matter as much as your web page showing your product. The picture needs to be clear and you should show front, back, and sideways if it has a sideways.

The text needs to be descriptive...not a lot of flowery adjectives...tell me what it is, what it does, and what are it's flaws.

The better you communicate the more people you will have bidding on your product.

And call it something simple so when people search it turns up often.

Agree with fisrt answer - Sunday night, people bored and looking
But if got something where someone else ending on Sunday night, aim for later that day or Monday night, then you pick-up th edisappointed bidders from previous item and get higher price.

about 1.30 in the morning some time mid-week normally tuesday or wednesdey cause nothing happens them times and plus most people on ebay are night ouls anyways but if you can get a mate to bid on the item aswell and challenge other possible buyers but be sure you know when to stop otherwise you will end up costing your self
