i want something good but affordable...everyone i know has an Ipod but i havent looked much into any others...any suggestions?

Look into Creative Lab's Zen Mps Players. There's a whole line of them that's a bit cheaper than an ipod. They are the coveted "better" version that no one really knows about because most consumers only know about the ipod.

you should buy a siron their a little bit hard to work but once get used to it it's petty easy the reason why you should buy it is because it hold alot of song and has voice recording say a jerk or someone mean started a roumor i would suggest that mp3 player because you could lay it somewere and you could tell the teacher pluse you can contoll the backgroung lights but if you get the ones at wal-mart then your going to have 10 songs already downloaded so if you hate them kind of artist then go to an electronic store trust me im seen lots of siron mp3's like that

It truly relies upon on what you're wanting to do with it. once you're seeking to have video games, music, and such, then i might advise the 8g iPod touch. You outta get the classic ipod. They're cheap, small, easy to use, and hold alot of songs. I've had my 20gb for almost 3 years. Aside from minor scratching to the screen, it's been an angel to me.

I highly recomend the sandisk players. great interface and battery life, small and light. My 4gb E260 can be found for around 170 right now but the 2gb or 1 gb is much cheaper.

It depends on what computer you have. If u own a Mac stay w/ the Ipod, other then that you can get what you want
