I am taking ciprofloxacin and flomax. my tongue burns could it be the medication i am taking. did not burn until iI took these medication. thank for your time.

Yes, it could be the meds, report it to your doc immediately..

If your tongue didn't burn before you started the meds, then it's a good chance that you're having some type of reaction to them. If a doctor tells you that can't happen, do not listen. Find another doctor.

Don't know if it's wise for you to stop either without checking with a pharmacist or physician.

If it was me, I'd figure out a way to get off of both of the meds and treat the imbalance naturally (herbs, homeopathy, aromatherapy, acupuncture, etc., etc., etc.)

what the hell are your taking cipro for? That stuff should be a last resort!
