RELAX!!!!!
You should bring a resume. That puts you one up against the person who doesn't - especially if the interviewer or owner is a little older.
No, don't bring your degrees, (although if it was for a job that pertained to your degree(s) it's always better to have them and not need them.
You shouldn't need any SScard. Just your regular ID. You'll need your SSN when you start your job.
Your nose piercing depends on where you're working - if it's a young - hip place, I would say yes, but if it's traditional, then no. As a general rule, I would say no nose piercings until after you get the job and feel out the atmosphere.

Hey... GOOD LUCK!!! I hope you get the job!!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!
Ask someone you know to give you a mock interview.

YES you should shake hands. Bring some anti-germical stuff with you and use it AFTER you walk out if you got an issue with shaking hands. Don't let them see you, they may not understand. lol!

Know at least one or two good questions to ask.
Know the answer to typical questions they will ask you (what are the areas that you need improvement - always gets me stuck).
Have some light-hearted answers too.
They are feeling you out to see if you will fit in well, not just your creditials, so a little light-heartedness and smiles and laughter go a LONG way!!!

GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sit with your ankles crossed, yes hands in your lap. Yes, take a resume for a job as a cashier, just be sure to highlight the areas that would make you a good candidate for the job you are interviewing for. I don't know if you wil need your degrees for a job as a cashier, but bring copies if you want just to be sure. Keep your ssn, driver's license, and any other basic forms of identification that you think you may need in case you are hired on the spot. If possible, I would take out the nose peircing for the interview. Good luck!

if you can sit w/ legs crossed the whole time then do that or just tuck your right foot behind your left ankle and keep your hands folded in your lap.

no you do not need a resume for this but its good to have a copy depending on the place they're all different.

no need to take your degrees, if they ask then say you can fax them over within a day or so.

take social security card, state id incase you get hired on the spot then they'll need a copy of both. also good idea to have your routing and checking acct # for direct deposit stuff if you need it.

nose piercing does not look professional, but you are applying for cashier so your call. if you've been to this place and they seem linient then don't worry about it.

good luck!

sit however you like as long as your crotch is not wide open

you dont need a resume, and they dont need to hire you. A resume will certainly keep you in the competition with all the others that do bring one

your degrees should be in your resume

your social security should be in your wallet, just incase

dont worry about the peircing, thats what makes u U

Go in there. Feel Confident! Make sure you remove your nose ring (incase of prejiduce). If applicable bring your degree, (I doubt you will need them) . Bring your social security card, licencse. For cashiering dress occasional. Some type of cute pants other than jeans and a nice shirt. Speak clearly, sit straight up like you are at attention, smile, make eye contact, and be sure of yourself! There is nothing that you cant do or learn, and if you have to learn make sure the interviewer knows you learn quickly! Good luck
