A territiorial manipulator is a person who purposely makes themselves a nuisance so that they can claim a common area to themselves...

They annoy people at work so that everyone will leave the office and they can do whatever they want...
They annoy people at home in order to confine them to their bedrooms...

Well, sometimes I think my dad does that. He doesn't like to be disturbed in the evenings and he is almost antisocial sometimes. He will pick an argument with my mother and she won't talk to him for the rest of the evening. Sometimes I think he does it on purpose.
