If it works for you, and it seems to, than you are doing a great job! I think I gave my son three meals a day. I didn't have such a great schedule as this, though, and I think if I did, it might have been easier. You could call the pediatrician and ask her, so you could tell your mom the doctor said I was doing fine, but I think if it's working for you and the baby seems fine, then what you're doing is OK.

YOU ARE DOING GREAT!! the only thing that might help ... switch the 5:30m bottle and 7;00 dinner.... try dinner at 5:30 WITHOUT cereal and give an 6 oz bottle and cereal at night before bed.. maybe you wont have to get up at 11pm.. I also used videos (like Baby Einstien) to help wind down before naps. Good luck

Your baby is growing VERY rapidly at 8 months - It sounds like you are giving her food so she has a constant amount of energy to draw from. Although mothers have good advice it isn't always good advice for your baby. It's an old school belief that babies should be "put on a schedule" - - when it is more beneficial to feed them when they are hungry - and don't when their not. YOu know your baby best and what her needs are and you should feed her according to what she needs not what your mom thinks. You are doing great! If you are really worried see your Pediatrician.

If it's working for you and your baby isn't too fat, then keep it up.
My suggestion to you is that if you're concerned about anything like that, give your pediatricians nurse a call and talk it out. They're use to stuff like that and will be happy to help you decide on an appropriate feeding schedule.'

Your schedule looks fine to me. If you are worried, check with your pediatrician or family doctor. The best cues to take are from your baby himself. He will let you know when he is hungry, and as long as his weight gain is steady and healthy for his age, just keep doing what you are doing. Good luck!

I think it is good to get your child on a schedule that way when he gets older he will eat his meals. I think you are doing good. If he doesn't want it he will let you know. As long as he isn't gaining to much weight I don't see a problem
GOOD LUCK

feed him however you want to feed him, he's your child. everyone can give you all the advice in the world, but when it comes down to it, you're his mother. if he wants to eat three times a day, let him. i don't think that 2 large meals a day would be bad for him, but then again easting habits are established at a young age and i would hate for him to learn to "stuff" himself now.

i fed all 3 of my girls 3 meals a day by 8 months but it seems to me that you may be giving him too much to drink, usually by 8 months my girls were down to 4 bottles of milk and one bottle of juice a day if you are worried you should ask your pediatrician though, as long as he is growing at a steady rate i wouldnt worry too much about it. every child grows differently.

I think you are doing good. If the baby is hungry he/she will eat what you offer. Veggies, fruits, cereal, milk, meat is perfect, that's how I fed my baby, and he is growing, and growing, he is 15 months now.
You are doing fine!
