It's really very beautiful. It's a colossus standing astride nothing. It's got almost the look of a monster, but the posture suggests a nurturing emotion. In my eyes, it's an iron golem rusted over, the rings are its persistent embrace of something mortal and long decayed, and it remains as a ruined yet immortal testament to a simple but pure affection.
...but that's just me.

I'm not an art expert, but I do enjoy looking at sculpture. I like the curved lines in your piece. I see a gesture in it, although it looks a bit off-balance weightwise. (Maybe the camera lens distorts the image?) Is it made of steel? Overall, I like it.
