I believe it's called a Finding of Fact and Conclusion that is prepared by the attorneys for the judge to review. When a decision is made by the judge, it is called a judgment or Order of Decree. Depending on State Laws, you have a time limit in which you can appeal the decision made by the court but an appeal only looks at the evidence provided, new evidence cannot be brought to the table through an appeal.

I believe you maybe able to use a Change of Venue to bring new evidence to the court but this is something that an attorney may be able to help you with.
