I would like to have a beautiful mind. Meaning- to have super fast brain cells/learning abilities.

I could:

1) learn a foreign language in a matter of minutes, just by listening the people on the street for a while and understanding the logic and the system. That way I could talk to anyone in the world, I could listen and understand anyone in the world!

2) read thousands of books per day! Simply go into a bookstore and casually scan a book in a few seconds. Oh, the beauty!

3) think of solutions for environmental, scientifical and political problems. Invent things, explore, understand!

When I was around 12 or 13, I started developing the idea of a character that discovered the ability to travel through time. Strangely, he could go to certain points in time, and time passed evenly in each time frame. I suppose that I was revealing a subconscious part of myself in this character. Thus, the superpower ability that I would choose would be to travel through time.

While elasticity appeals to me, I am going to be greedy and want to be able to shapeshift totally, in terms of size, shape, and composition. Assuming I would keep my mind and senses, that would allow me to turn into anything at all, be it a person, object, or animal.

That would so cool because I could do lots of superhero things (as opposed to super villain, I'm a good guy at heart) like catching terrorists. I could disguise myself as a gun or some supplies and get smuggled into their hideout, then turn into a radio to call the troops! I could catch scummy criminals like child abusers or rapists by transforming into bait and then trapping them in a cage.

However, all work and no play is no way to live! I'd play fetch with my two girls as a dog (I like Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, think I'd make a good one) or fly me as a kite (away from trees and powerlines!). I'd let my best friend take me for a joyride as a Ferrari (we both love cars). My wife and I would do all sorts of stuff. Let her take me for a ride as a cute convertible, go white water tubing with me as the tube (or maybe her swimsuit :) ), or even just snuggle with her after a romantic evening, by turning myself into silk sheets or lingerie. Heck, I'd even transform myself into her a few times, to give her a day off, see what it feels like, and to finally get her size right when shopping for her!

I would want to be able to read minds. Not for the perverted reasons, although that would help. But just to know what people are thinking. It seems like no one ever tells the truth, they'll tell you what you want to hear. When I ask someone, "what's new?" Their reply is usually, "nothing". I just want to be able to talk and get to know someone. If they don't want to communicate with me, I'll find out for myself!!
