its on top of the transmission. i have a 1994 acura integra that i thought needed the speed sensor but it ended up being that all i need was a ground connneted to the plug that connects to the speed sensor i can almost guarantee that u just spent oney for no reaon u dont need the entire sensor u just needed some ground to go to it...the perfect way of checking this is ti get an electrcity tester and poke a whole in each of the 2 wires on the plug and c if electricity is goin thru if not just shave off a lil bit of coating off the plug and connect a piece of wire to the motor for ground..this should have you speedometer working in no time....thats wat i did..i did the cheapest thing 1st...goodluck

Is it not in the rear differential? Spend the extra few dollars and get a manual for your tuck and for the directions.
