It seems like I never get 2 minutes to just rest in silence...

At work, at home, and everywhere else there are noisy talking people.... I guess it would help if they always had something interesting or important to talk about... but they don't...

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I do, but I have my secret getaways and you just have to find yours! I'm not kidding! You'll be so glad you did.

When my coworkers get on my last nerve, I take a break and go for a walk in a quiet area that I have staked out for myself.

When my friends are overbearing, I take off by myself to some quiet park or a boat ride or even a hike. There are places that I can go to that no one else goes to at the time of day that I go so therefore I will have some quiet until others might show up.

You have to find what works for you. There has to be something that you can do to get that peace and quiet that you are looking for! Good luck! I am rooting for you!

I am an introvert who shares this same problem. Things I have learned to do for myself, depending on how overwhelmed I am feeling include staying up after everyone else has fallen asleep, calming music with candles, or a visit to the local spa for me time.

Yes - the only break I get is when I'm in the car going somewhere on my own.
There always seems to be noise around, everywhere.
I'm thinking of going for a quiet weekend walking in Derbyshire to get away from it all.
