Look at the rest of their team, and yours, and see if they have any powerhouses. He might want your current D to make up for something he's lacking or to weaken your fantasy lineup. It's more than just D that wins week after week, so choose carefully. I personally like the Bengals over the Falcons, but neither D is top of the line.
Good luck!

Both teams have athletic secondarys, but I would say the Falcons are better at stopping the run. You might want to look at the schedules and see which team has the easier one (Bengals play the COlts twice). If your still in a 50/50 decision, see how both teams start, and go game by game. I would go with teh falcons though, im not 100%.

I think it would have to be the Falcons.... i know a lot of NFL players whos good and whos not but i cant name a single bengal defensive player off the top of my head but i know that the falcons have DeAngelo Halll and he is good

The two defenses will probably put up similar results. Maybe the person offering the trade knows something you don't. Also, since they are so similar take a look at which team's bye week fits in better with the rest of your team.

I wouldn't bet my life on EITHER.......take your chances on the waiver wire and don't waste effort on this trade.........that must be a better ranked defense out there than these two.....especially if you are in an eight or ten man league....pay attention to last years fantasy points for the teams you are considering and go shopping while the season is early on the waiver wire

NO NO NO, TAKE THE FALCONS! LOOK AT THE FACTS:
1) THEY HAVE AN AWESOME D-LINE W/ ABRAHAM, KERNEY, SMITH, AND JACKSON
2) THE LBS ARE GREAT W/ BROOKING AND HARTWELL
3) THE SECONDARY IS FORMIDABLE W/ MILLOW AND HALL
4) WHEN YOU TAKE A DEFENSE, YOU GET THEIR ST TOO, INCLUDING PR, P, KR. THEY HAVE ROSSUM TO DO BOTH PR AND KR, SO TAKE THE FALCONS IF YOU CAN GET THEM.

The colts are good, Tampa Bay, and even Jacksonville has a good defense.
