They have been in the playoffs ever year since their fifth year in the league and have been a legitimate contender for at least the past two years.

in the west i see minnesota, detroit, anaheim,san jose, nashville, edmonton, calgary, and vancouver making the playoffs. in the first round, nashville, edmonton, vancouver, and anaheim will not make it to round two. round 2 will see minnesota vs detroit in which game seven will see detroit be the winner and san jose will oust calgary in five. san jose beats detroit in five in the third round round. in the east i see these teams in the playoffs- new york rangers, toronto, new jersey, ottawa, carolina, philly, buffalo, and boston. ny rangers , new jersey, philly, and ottawa all lose in round one. in round two i see carolina and buffalo winning. in round three i see the sabres winning. as far as who i see winning in the stanley cup finals i haven't the slightest idea since the season hasn't started but i think it'll be buffalo or sanjose.

tough call so early, I think Ottawa will fimally amke i this year, dont know if theyll win it though, They May face the Sharks
