I don't know about the nutmeg, but I read in Cosmo the other day that lemon juice and crushed up aspirin make pimples disappear! Of course, I tried it out, and it worked fairly well - it really dried it up. It didn't disappear overnight, but it definitely sped up the process.

Odd, I've never heard of that but I'm sure it's worth a try. I know white toothpaste (not the gel type) works like a charm for drying those little guys out. I put it on before bed and by morning they're flat and almost gone! Cheap too, don't have to go buy anything special, everyone has toothpaste!

lemon juice would make zits sting, provided that they are open. If you know you are just about to grow a zit somewhere, though, it can help a lot.

You're better off using toothpaste... it helps dry out the pimple.
