Terrible.
LT is dual threat RB and even if Favre is old, he will most likely get more points than Ben anyway.
(Alexander is on the Madden cover also.)

No I would not accpet this trade becuase, I think Brett Favre is going to have a better season because he will have a running game this year. Shaun Alexander will get his carries and touchdowns, but the chargers have a Philip Rivers starting at quarterback which will give tomlinson more carries and touchdowns when the chargers r in the red zone. As for Big Ben, he is a horrible fantasy quaterback especially when his health is in question.

Dont trade. Favre is going to have another horrible season as well as the Greenbay Packers.
Roethlisberger and the Steelers are running a new offensive scheme this year to mimmick that of the Indianapolis Colts....stick with Big Ben.
If the Madden curse doesn't get to Alexander, then you'll be fine with him.

I would do it. Green Bay if lucky may win 2-3 games. If you get docked for Int's and Farve does what he did last year you may be in trouble. Big Ben should throw about 3,000 yrds and give you about 20 TD's. He should be a better producer than Farve (who hasn't put up such bad numbers since 1993). I love LT, I think he's slightly better than Shaun, however I think it's a pretty even trade without Brees the defenses will key in on LT even more.

Don't do it! Alexander has the Madden curse this year. Plus Favre is better than Big Ben. Stay with LT and the future hall of famer.

Let's break this trade down:
Shaun Alexander, LT are equal value
The trade comes down to Ben Rothlisburger vs Brett Farve
Ben is better than Brett, so I would take the trade.

I actually like the alexander /Roethlisberger combo for the following reasons,,,,,,,,
Favre will/might be replaced midseason if his team is out of it.....also his line is porous and he could get hurt
Roth will probably be allowed to throw a bit more with bettis gone and parker an unproven commodity......Alexander and Tomlinson are a wash...so the QB is the issue

I wouldnt do it simply b/c Tomlinson and Alexander are equal, but Favre is much better than Roethlisberger in Fantasy land.

Do it; SA is #1 or #2 everywhere; LT is pretty much a consensus #3.
You do lose in the QB deal - but not as much as you gain in the RB part.
Expect Favre to have a good FANTASY season, especially if your league doesn't have negatives for turnovers. GB will be throwing, throwing, throwing.

No. Big Ben is a bad fantasy QB and Farve, before last season, is a fantasy stud. LT and Alexander are a bit of a wash
