highschool showers...?

so ya, im sure alot of guys have had this problem. Im going to be a junior in highschool this year.. the only problem is im going back to public school cause we can't afford private. At the private school we didn't have community showers. Im not sure about the public school but i believe they do. I just think its really strange that they ask us to shower with other men. They say we are all the same. its just strange. not to mention i have heard horror stories about guys gettin erections in there.
Here are my questions: Do they force you to shower, or can you just throw on some axe or tag?
And do you have any advice, if they do make you shower, thanks

There's really no way they can MAKE you.

They recommend it & provide towels, but I never did. Even if I did, I'd never have time before the bell rang, anyway. Actually, I don't think the teachers could care less one way or another. Most people DON'T take showers at school.

So don't worry about it, get dressed and go to your next class. Give yourself the sniff test when you get home, and if you need a shower, take one.

I'm also in High School. Going into grade 12 next year but let me tell you about my freshmen year. I was in wrestling and i had to shower because we got so sweaty in our morning work outs that it would be gross to go through the rest of the school day. I was also kind of a late bloomer. I didn't start puberty till around 13. So as you can probaly guess i was a litle worried too. Anyways. Just act normal. Don't look down at other people's penises and they wont look at yours most likely. If the do, honestly thats a little bit weird. IF they look i gurantee that 95% of them won't say anything. Get a shower on the corner or by the wall if you can so they cann all just see your *** if there looking instead of your penis. Uhhhh you'll be okay =]

Dude don't be such a wuss! If you don't shower you will stink and will be wet from working out. If you don't want to the other guys may laugh at you, just get your butt in the shower, if only to pass under the water and dry off. Get clean! If anyone looks pee on them. I had to shower in high school in the 1970s. The coach made us all go in and shower. Never did anyone get a ***** in there that I was aware of. As freshman everyone was as scared as you are. As you became a sophomor, junior and senior it became no big deal. There will always be those who look and compare, they are the homos, just never mind them and clean up. Heck, I was at the gym and a guy was checking out my package and I just paid no attention, got cleaned up and left. Who cares, they are probably jealous. The more you worry about it the worse it is. Just go, they are all scared turtles anyway.

I guess if they tell you that you have to take a shower then you will but I think everyone feels the same way you do anyway. Just take the shower quickly if you can, good luck. Call the school and ask so you dont feel stupid the first time you have gym class.

keeps your eyes up and never bend or look down thats the rules. they cant force you to shower but if your like playing a sport out side and you get grass down your shorts your going to want to shower. so heres the deal the only guys who make comments about other guys in the shower are concered they maybe be gay so dont worry about it.

just get in their was your self down and oh i almost forgot bring your bathing suit when i was first starting high school alot of guys wore them so bring one with you and see what the other guys do if they have some then dont worry if they dont then just go with the flow.

as well the if your the only guy to go in naked then theirs a chane it will get around and if you play it right you can turn it around to make it look like your a real man and the girls will like that.

Geesh...grow up...I went to public schools and I don't know any guy that worried about taking a shower in the locker room.

don't worry about the other guys. do you thing and dry off, get dressed and you will feel much better. If other guys get erections, that is their problem not yours. All that soap talk is stupid, too.
Don't be embarassed about your size or anything. Most other guys don't usually care anyway. You could prolly get a note written but then you will stink in school if you do alot of activity in gym class...so think about ...good luck

MANY A TIME i would just put my street clothes back on and no one was the wiser. Showers are bull sh*t and it is to get the stink off if you really worked out. but nowadays with Axe or tag why shower at all. IF anyone says anything at all, tell them you can't be late to your next class or your in deep trouble. they will back off knowing this. have fun in school and watch out for the friendly guys checking you out. most guys are tough though and beat up little queers anyway.

well it depends on what school you go to some junior highs like mine dont have showers but the high school does and im kinda worried about that cause im kinda uncomfortable getting naked in front of guys and just remember theyve got everything uve got down there and when u get to college u wont see them again so im not gonna care and even if it is kinda hairy its not like theyre going to tell because that would be like they were looking at it so enjoy

Don't worry about other people bro.... Just get in there and keep your head up... You might think it's weird and everyone is looking at you, but truly, everyone is in the same position you are... No-one just throws there cloths off and jumps around all happy in the shower.. No way... everyone is thinking the same way as you and just worry about yourself... It's honestly not bad.. I had the same problem for years until i noticed that everyone just goes in the shower, keeps their heads up, and does their thing..... dont sweat it bro!!
