Well I've been off birth control for almost 9 months now, been ttc for 4 months and still not pregnant. I used the Nuvaring by the way. With my first pregnancy - I was on the pills and got pregnant within 3 months of using the pills. After the baby was born, I switched to Nuvaring, worked fine for 2 years, but now that we're ttc, my cycles seem to be messed up, and we're having a hard time to get pregnant. I didn't have any bleeding after I stopped using birth control, just some weird symptoms.

Goodluck with your ttc and I'm throwing lots of baby dusts your way!

I was on the Nuvaring for awhile, then switched to pills for a couple of months. After I got off, I didn't even get a chance to bleed, because within that month, I got pregnant with our first.

When I last took bcp, I stopped taking them when I should have gotten my period anyway, so I can't really answer that question.

After I stopped taking the pills, it took us four months to get pregnant.
