yes I had this problem for the first time about a week ago. the doctor told me to put a warm wet rag on it as much as possible. I sat in a warm bath the next day and I popped it. It was really gross and oily but it felt better a couple days later. The said it was just a clogged oil gland.

It's possible to get a zip pretty much anywhere - they're just clogged pores. Because of the placement it's also possible that it's an ingrown hair - sometimes they look very similar. Because it looks like a zit it's unlikely it's herpes - they look more like blisters than zits. If you're worried about it though here's a site with some good information: http://www.herpesalliance.org/English_resources.htm . You should also think about seeing your doctor.

It could be an ingrown hair or a pore clogged with powder if you use that. It could also be a cyst. If it gets bigger, go to the doctor. Otherwise, take warm baths or soaks to bring it to a head. Don't try to pop it. Good luck!

yes it is possible more likely to be an ingrown hair. i shave about 2 times a week and when i shave more than that i get ingrown hair. it might not be ready to be popped but it will in the next couple of days but it will hurt to pop more than the ones u get on your face

Probably an ingrown hair, but a zit is possible.

Herpes?

it sounds like a ingrown hair...and they hurt like something terrible ..you will probably need to get it lanced if it won't seem to come to a head..sounds gross but it happens...before going to doctor if you really don't want to you can try hot tea bags just place on top of bump sometimes drawing save will work to just put a small very small amount on bump..and air dry well it don't dry but needs to sit on top with out smudging...I had one and I had to go to ER it hurt so bad i was getting nausea....and they lanced it and it was insist relief some people call it a boil...ingrown hair.......

Yes its possible, you should see a doctor, just to be sure its not something more serious. it might just be a zit, it might be more.
