Perfect example of liberal hypocrites:
Bob Laurence, TV critic for the San Diego Union-Tribune, sent a letter setting forth a couple of reasons for the scant coverage given to the kidnapping in Gaza of two Fox News journalists (via Michelle):
... Fox has deliberately set itself apart from other news media. Starting at the top with Roger Ailes, the Fox sales pitch has been to deride other media, to declare itself the one source of the real truth, the sole source of 'fair and accurate' news reporting. As a result, there's not a reservoir of kinship or good will with Fox on the part of the rest of the news media. You can't keep insulting people and then expect friendship when you need it.
Oh liberals, you fool no one. We don't buy you two-faced lies anymore.

Hmmm... I'm not sure what to think of this one. I'm not sure I completely agree with your statement... but I'm not sure I agree with his either.
It IS interesting, however, that this story wasn't covered very expensively. Considering prior stories regarding news reporters being covered so extensively it does beg the question as to why this one didn't get much coverage. I guess I hadn't thought about it until reading your post.

I know, right? I remember the long, intensive meeting I had with Bob before he said this in which we discussed our agreed upon viewpoint and how he would express it.
Or maybe I've never heard of the TV critic from San Diego and he doesn't speak for me.
Here's some more two faced lies for you:
"We're fighting terrorists in Iraq so they won't come here"
"Mission Accomplished"
"When we talk about wiretaps, we're talking about getting a court order"
"I think we're seeing the 'last throes' of the insurgency"
"Iraq has weapons of mass destruction"
"Compassionate Conservative"
"I'm a uniter, not a divider"

Actually he sums up Fox news pretty well. Although, I don't understand where lack of coverage comes from- CNN ran nearly six hours worth of coverage on the "deadline" day. And I had seen several stories a day running on the Fox news journalists up to and including their release.

Isn't that the way the liberal news media treats Fox? Don't you get a kick out of the liberals who think they are fair and compassionate and honest? They do whatever they want to do and call it right, but when a conservative does exactly the same thing, liberals get angry and start yelling again. They are really amazing, aren't they?
