look up new products (US etc) also search out 'Licensing'. You need to really dig deep and think a step ahead. There are loads of foreign companies that don't have a market here. Just ask them. Most will respond favourably. You've got to try to establish something that let's them deal directly to the market you're offering, rather than start handling the goods yourself (if you can). Ultimately, anyone abroad that doesn't have a market here, are your potential customers. There's thousands of them in the U.S. but it's down to you to know what viable to sell in the U.K
Also...don't forget to ask for a sole license/ distributorship. To make this work, you don't always have to find the next pogo stick or Rubik cube.

Actually i think its a fab idea, I live in Vegas and really miss Brit food, One enterpising lady, opened a Brit store so now i can have my jaffa cakes!
Am sure as much i miss Brit stuff you could Identify an american market that misses Twinkies for example and sell to them. I'd be sure you have a website so we can find you easily you'll also need to make sure you have a very relaiable exporter.
You might also want to have a chat with the import and exports division, you'll be needing to pay taxes etc.
I wish you the best of luck.

I would too.
I'm thinking of asking 'Business Link' - I think they could put us on the right road. (This is if you are in the UK.)
As for - who will buy from you. Depends on what the product is. ....
Put on your best sales suit - & visit all the outlets that you think could sell your product. Make appointment with the buyer - & SELL, SELL, SELL!

let me know its difficult, there are a lot of wholesale companies in search engines etc but you need to pay a membership fee, like £3.00 a month etc, do get contact details. as for contacting companies you could start be emailing them and you will get some answers with contact info on for who you need to speak to.

Don't bother, believe me it's really not worth it...too many bigger and more powerful companies are already importing...you probably woudn't be at all successful and it's not worth wasting/loosing your money.
Nice try anyway.
