i was most happy when i was 17, just met my current boyfriend, had the world at my feet going out 5 nights a week on 30 pound a week wages, now im earning over 1000 and can just about afford a dvd rental

I try to put the past behind me and concentrate on being reasonably content in the present. The word "happy" causes so much trouble - it's too high octane to be sustainable. I prefer to settle for contentment.
