yeah, the guy got a first class ticket back to the US, a 5 star meal on board, got out of a Thailand jail and 15 minutes on twisted fame. At least we know the face of this sicko so hopefully he won't be allowed near kids ever again

I have to respond to evw52293's statement of "he did it." It's amazing that, despite having pretty much the most definitive piece of forensic evidence that you can have in a trial to prove that he didn't do it, there are still people who are so ignorant as to think that he was guilty. Do you need more proof, or have you been so caught up with the way that the media immediately portrays suspects as guilty that you can't recall the "guilty until proven innocent" concept that is the cornerstone of our entire justice system? Which is it, dumbass?
And I sure saw this coming. If you actually look at the facts, it has been pretty clear from the get-go that there was reason to doubt his guilt. Maybe he did it as a publicity stunt for a book.

I was hoping we was the culprit. But in the recent weeks, I was having my doubt, as was the press.
He got exactly what he was after -- fame. His family said that was all he was after. I guess, for once, the defendant's family was right.
This revelation will certainly bring this case full circle, and before this story disappears from the news' radar, we'll all (once again) be believing that the parents did it. Did they? Who knows? But I think that's the next logical step (again), since Karr's been cleared of the charges.

that's really sad that the Ramsey family was so close to having some sort of closure and now they are right back where they started. even if that sick twisted f**ks DNA didn't match the DNA, hes done horrific things to other children and he will pay for them, God will see to that. RIP Jon Benet. I pray that whoever did this to that poor girl ends up getting caught and soon.

What pisses me off is how his public defender said Karr was "taken so abruptly from Thailand". Um, because Karr confessed? Duh.
He's just a thrill seeker.

My whole thing, which I heard on tv today, was this...He's always said he was there, that it was an accident. He never once said that he actually committed the act himself. So, I'm not too surprised that the DNA didn't match him. It doesn't prove or disprove anything he's said.

Yes, that was really a shock, wasn't it? (yeah, right!) Geez, it appears that CNN raised another absolute hoax up the flag pole and got a lot of people's hopes up. Truth be known, I don't think this one will ever be resolved.
