You are probably experiencing increased blood flow throughout your body which will lead to increased itching. Your body now has an increased volume of blood. You could also be experiencing swelling of which you are not aware that can increase the itching. Keep your skin moisturized even if you don't think it is dry. You may, however, want to check out the link below.

I know exactly how you feel! With my first pregnancy, I was terriblly itchy and nothing I could do helped. I did soak in the bath (with bath oils) and then applied lots of Kari Lotion on after. Your skin stretches as you are get bigger and therefore you itch! A very common problem. I would still mention the itchiness at your next prenatal! Good luck and hope the itchiness subsides for you!

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.
Luckly there is a cure for herpes https://tr.im/d316d

Your hormones have gone into overdrive - don't panic - this is perfectly normal when you are pregnant. Whoever said pregnancy was fun was obviously a man!!!!
Go to your Doctor and tell her what is happening, she probably won't prescribe drugs because they may not be good for the baby, but will recommend a suitable cream.
The good news is that it will go away. Good Luck with the baby.

When your stomach itches .. DON'T SCATCH!! :-) That causes strech marks. I also had bad itching on my legs...so much that I'd bleed from all the scratching. Just lotion up and it'll go away.
