No, the most basic things you will need are a wireless router, and a wireless network card for your computer. Many laptops now are coming with wireless cards built in, but you need those two things to be able to connect to the internet wirelessly.

depends oon whos wireless internet your using. if it is a neighbors it will be free (or if otherwise indicated that it is free). if it is going through a company u will have 2 pay.

no if u do it right and yes if u wanna be a cheeky sod and piggy back on someone elses wireless connection, it all depends on wether you already have wifi hardware on ur system
