i wanna learn to play a regular guitar i just want some print-outs on how to read tabs and play childrens songs please help. that internet gets me so lost

ok first of all, i think you mean acoustic guitar, if you're going to play, stop calling it regular.
First you want to learn some basic chords. You should look for chord charts and start memorizing. You just put your fingers where the dots are.
It's going to take alot of practice if you're going to teach yourself, i would recommend taking lessons to at least learn the basics and then teach yourself from there.
If you don't want to do that, here are some sites for tablature and chord charts, the basics.

You would probaly be better off buying a how to tape or dvd for beginners. Reading tabs can be confusing and drive you crazy. Maybe thats why I never learned how.
