Gosh, how about listening to him and learning something? Sorry to give you a third option.
Hey - if he's your English teacher, maybe you could learn how to spell "teacher!"
School is pointless unless you invest your concentration and time in it. Since you have to be there anyway, why not use your time instead of wasting it?

why not just enjoy the class, and learn something. If you have a few true facts of your own, and can toss then in from time to time, to make things more lively for all, why not do that. Participate.. not condemn..
Your teacher earned the right to be there.. think about that. And now he has to deal with the likes of you..

Success is the best revenge! Study, graduate, get a good job, then go to your 20th reunion and show him how full of it he was.
It sounds like work, I know, but the best revenge is the the kind that takes time and is totally unexpected.
Chances are youi'll give him a heart attack!
