A roach motel would be better - roaches are much bigger and easier to knock off the bed. Fleas are harder to thump. What you really need to watch out for are the bed bugs - try not to let them bite!
What I recommend for you though is the Nut House near Dallas, TX. It is an actual hotel, quaint and lovely. When I stayed they left the key on top of the porch light (all the staff had gone home). I considered sleeping in the suite as I had the whole place to myself, but I stayed in my reserved room, being a law-abiding, rule-keeping sort. One fellow did come in later and stayed down the hall. You'll like it.

Roach motel.
My favourite is known locally as 'Hotel California', because you can check in anytime you like, but you can never leave.
There's a picture of it at the link below, in the days when it used to be called 'The Black Flag' and Muhammad Ali used to bunk over.
PS - Don't bump your head on the doorway when you walk in, it's a bit cramped. If you do, either sue them or steal the towels.
