If you live in the southwestern Ohio area you have no doubt heard about the little boy that was missing and thousands of people were looking for him. Now, his foster parents have been arested for involuntary manslaughter in the boy's death. They apparently locked him in a closet for two days while they went to a family reunion and when they returned he was dead. The foster father took the boy to Brown County where he burned the boy's body and burried him.

I think these two should not live long enough to make it to trial. What do you think?

that is a horrible thing to do to a child! (or anyone for that matter!) but especially a disabled child who cannot defend himself?!? unbelievable!

unfortunately, right or wrong, everyone in this county, no matter how heinous the crime & no matter what public opinion is, has the right to a "fair" trial. good luck getting a fair trial, folks! you have some SERIOUS problems if you're locking children in closets for two days & thinking it's ok to do so!

"...the man looks a little gay..."

HUH?
WHAT?

It's a good thing I KNOW there are intractably ignorant people on here, or I'd think I was dealing with apes.

Here in Arizona, it's a practical nightmare process even to GET a child for adoption. How these people ended up with one is beyond me. Usually there are tests and more psych tests and so on...

Unless it's their state's law, they probably won't suffer the death sentence, because some lame argument about how humans are supposed to be able to live 3 days without food will be entered into trial.

They will claim ignorance. They will try to get out of it. After all is said and done, let's at least hope they end up with life in prison for they FACT that they burned and hid the child, showing that they KNEW they did something horribly wrong.

I tend to agree with you. I am trying to determine what kind a person would do something like that. Why not take him with them, he was family? Surely people at the reunion asked about him, or maybe not, if the family is anything like the parents, then they probably didn't care. This couple at the very least , should be neutered so as not to have any more children to abuse. They probably will get a reduced sentence on mental grounds.
