I have gotten so many angry answers back from so many hurt American people. Most are beligerant and have no creative answers. Just the same old rhetoric. Keep cranking out the bile and keep eating it, as they say in the media, and people will believe anything eventually. Especially after 230 years. That tells me to stay in Canada and keep in touch with Europe and the realistic world.I tryly am very sorry for my American cousins. We do love you much. It hurts to see you all suffer so much.As my mama says, "the devil loves his children so much, he gouges out their eyes so they don't have to see the misery of the world."

You know, the 2-party system is not as written in stone as people seem to think it is.

With prominent politicians like Joe Lieberman finding themselves not fitting into one party or another, I think we are going to be seeing some new ones forming in the future.

Honestly, I look forward to it :) I think it will make for more serious and meaningful debate than the stale old "conservative versus liberal" jag.

4 parties? Why limit it to 4? I am a proponent of doing away with the 2 party system here. I think it is anti-democratic.

As for socialism your going to have to kill me to impose any more Gov control over my life. I've had enough with Gov interference. I could have BOUGHT the home I lost for cash with just 3 or 4 years taxes. I could have bought my car cash with one years taxes and I was NOT rich man. Taxes are KILLING us. They are a way to steal freedom. That is what the US is about. Freedom and all that goes with it.

The poor stay poor not because of the form of Gov, but because the Gov has failed to do it's job protecting us from monopolies and creating fair trade conditions. Corrupt officials have subscribed us to economic suicide in order to buy short term votes. The worse it gets the more control they gain over people so it's in the best interests of our current political regime to make things worse. The two headed monster turning American against American controlled by media monopolies that should have never happened and abetted by a corporations which buy politiicians like most people pick out fresh produce.

So it's corruption and socialism that ARE the problems.

Want to move here don't you?
Many rich people here were once poor. Anyone can move up the economic ladder with hard work and a few smarts.
With your socialism, eveyone one is poor except the rulers.
Our poor people live better than you.

Communism is a failed political system. Socialism destroys creativity, free will, freedom of speech, freedom of movement, freedom of choice,
If America's system of gov. is so bad why is The U.S. the number 1 stop of immigrants and Canada just #2(as in poop). New Orleans full of something for nothing crybabies.

In my American opinion, the poor are not condemned to stay poor. Everyone is free to the pursuit of happiness, to get a job, to make a better life for themselves. If they choose not to, you cannot blame the system. I am not talking about the sick or disabled.

Socialism sucks. Check out one of the many European hospital systems or the American school system. American Social Security is going to crap and there is no real incentive to do work in a socialist society. Socialism sucks.

As opposed to the spectacular successes of monarchies, fascism, communism, and religious states? If the goal of government is a utopian society (and I think it ought to be), then failure is built into the system, but said failure is not the worst possible outcome.

The political system works

the people running it suck

Cut out the pork projects, retarded presidents, and general corruptedness out of the government, and it would be superb. People represented, fairness, justice.
