okay, so here's the deal.. my period was 5 days late.. so i took a home pregnancy test.. but i took it in the middle of the day and it came out negative, then the next day i started my period...my husband and I had unprotected sex the day before my period started.. and the day before it ended..now... a week after my period has ended.. my boobs are more full, and really sore.. i'm bloated... and am extremely TIRED and severe headaches.. i'm wondering if maybe the test came out negative because i took it wrong... my mom had her periods during the first few months of her pregnancy.... anyone else have these problems?

oh yeah, also, my period was normal..but now i just feel like it's going to start back up again........... only a week after it ended..

It could have been too early for the Home pregnancy test. I suggest you see your doctor where he could do a blood test to make sure. You can still have periods if you are pregnant.

Females don't ovulate until the 14th-16th day starting the first day of their period. If you had sex the day before your period, you might not be ovulating yet. Some females do get their period while their pregnant. By reading your symptoms, it doesn't guarantee that you're pregnant, it can just be a menstrual thing. When I'm on my period, I have all of the symptoms that you've stated. Now, I'm currently a little over 7 months pregnant and I don't feel a thing. Stress and change of hormones does prevent you from getting your period.

My husband and I wanted to have a baby, so we were stressed out about it. My period was a week late and I thought I was pregnant, so I took a home pregnancy test and it said "negative". A month later, my period never came, so I took another pregnancy test and it said "positive". To be 100% sure, I saw a doctor. My doctor said that home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate.

well i suggest u go to the chemist and purchase 2/3 more test kits and ask advice on the best one and then use these in the mornig then evening and then the next morning and see what happens, i personally feel that u r not pregnant , however there are cases when a period can come and still be pregnant.
after the tests which should give u a more clear picture, head to ur gp and have a pregnancy test there to be extra sure.

I honestly think you are not pregnant, however, to be sure get a blood test done to see if there is the hormone HCG in your blood. You normally shouldn't have any bleeding while pregnant.

I would see your doctor though about your symptons though.... Good luck and hope I am wrong about you not being pregnant if that is what you want!

most likely your not pg. i have been dealing with similar issues and honey, it boils down to age...or a more serious thing such as anemia, problems w/thyroid or fibroids or as simple as polups around the uterus. in my case...it was none of the above just a case of aging (im only 31), stress and diet. please know i havent been on the pill in over a year and have been enjoying trying to get pg. i suggest speaking with your md or document on your own the things you have detected. good luck!
