In a strange sort of way?
Would you want to know more? Or just accept the fascination?

Well the risk of of finding out more is that you may find out things that you don't want to know.

You could be disappointed or you could be delighted, it's a gamble.

But even if you do get to know more, there is always the possiblity that they will go on to fascinate you even more.

It used to be so easy in the UK; introductions were usually conducted with a third party, and old skool etiquette actually demanded that people be properly introduced to one another before any form of meaningful social interaction could begin.

Not so easy nowadays. You just go up to them and say hello. Who'd go wrong with that? Actually, a surprising amount of people can't even bring themselves to do even that.

If you can't work up the courage to try the direct approach, you'll need to ask around, approach the person in a roundabout way.

First, ask his or her friends what this person's like to start with. Ask associates, especially mutual associates who know you and the object of your infatuation.

If you know someone who knows this person, and can set up a meeting, arrange for that person to set you up to talk with the object of your fascination.

If you are bold enough, go up to that person and just let them know that you find that person fascinating. Best if you have a good friend along, to soften the shock of First Contact.

It's really that simple. Try it.
