When I receive E-mail with a picture, I only get a blank square with a small box in the left corner.?

Try this:

In Internet Explorer, go to TOOLS and then INTERNET OPTIONS

Choose the ADVANCED tab

Scroll down to the MULTIMEDIA section

Check SHOW PICTURES

Click OK

Do you use gmail, you can click "show graphics" link above the message.
If you are using yahoo, be sure you are receiving emails in the inbox, not in the junk mail forlder.
Some time sender copy and paste the image from computer hard drive, that creates a local link to the image eg. c:\my documents\pic.jpg in that case you can never see the picture he/she inserts.
Look if the image links are broken by right clicking over picture and copy and paste it in the browser.

Look for a statement somewhere that says something like "pictures blocked to protect..." and click it to allow them through, or Right Click the the small box and choose "show picture"

genuine, i won't be in a position to write with my left hand in any respect! yet I do a number of issues with my left hand, curiously i'm left hand eye co-ordinated. Or genuine, whichever is the different of what genuine handers might desire to be! I open doors, carry bags and do maximum stuff with my left hand.

You need to go to TOOLS, Internet Options, enable HTML graphics if you are running Windows XP OS.
