I lived in Anchorage 22 years ago and craved pink grapefruit, fresh and peeled like an orange!!! Not easy to come by in mid winter!!!

With one son I craved peach nehi and a snicker the second peanut butter sandwiches! My mother in law ate coffee gounds with a spoon. A friend ate laundry starch, and my sister ate burned wooden match tops. Pregnacy does strange things to you!!!

Fresh pink grapefruit, oddly enough, vanilla yogurt with blueberries--even though my body isn't meant for dairy!, pretzels dipped in chocolate...didn't give in to that one too often. Pineapple juice.... I think that's it for weird cravings. I read while pregnant that cravings don't always mean you need something.

King crab legs, Ice cream sandwiches. I live in Houston Texas at the time i couldn't afford king crab, so i settled for the gulfs little blue crabs and Ice cream sandwiches. and ate a box of sandwiches ( 24 every day) for the last 3 months. i gained 69 lbs. and he was 9lbs.11ozs. and his favorite food? sea food and Ice cream-all kinds on both. this was 1981. when my best friend was pregnant i craved for her- because she didn't do craving a justice. i craved bubble gum ice cream and Coors lite beer, at the same time...uck! my girlfriend was glad it wasn't her... me to.
