When Hitler, started his career to become dictator of Germany, I'm sure there were many like us in the US right now with Bush who oppose him and just as many who supported him. Even after his crusade against the Jews, I'm sure he still had die hard fans who rooted for him. Now I don't Bush will get to that stage where he's able to become a dictator but the question is why do people continue to root for men who do bad things? Is because they have blind faith, don't spend time to know the truth or just willing to sell their souls as long they remain safe?

To those who say I don't have a clue, I was a Republican, I DID do my research before I change parties. Days of it and much soul searching, how much research have you done.

Hitler came to power as a liberal socialist who preached closed borders and closed markets, virtually shunning foreigners and immigrants.

Bush is a moderate conservative who is in favor or open markets and controlled immigration.

The two are very dissimilar.

Why is it that people continue to compare Bush to Hitler....I am not even going to get into the stupidity of that again....however....I support bush for several reasons....he has stuck to his guns througout the entire things....He is the one who decided that saying "do this or else" just wasn't working anymore....Do I like hearing that Americans are dieing no...but that is the price of war. Did Saddam have WMD when we got there...no..but he also had how much time to get move them out....and we know he had used the before and his own country...so what is to say that he wouldn't have found a way to use them on us....I, for one, am glad we will never have to find out. IF for example, we had heard about 9/11 before it happened would anyone have been against striking first....NO....this is the same thing....we new he could do some nasty things...he had before so why not get it over before he does have something he could do....I also support Bush because he will not back down from what he beleives no matter what others say....

Just because Bush may be repeating some of Hitlers mistakes, doesn't make it safe to assume he's learning anything.

More important to people than remaining safe, is feeling safe. They decided in the last election that George Bush made them feel safer- because he didn't use big words. Now they can either stick to their guns, or admit that they were mistaken and that they've put themselves and their own families in danger for the last few years. It's hard enough to admit you're wrong when it's just you.

It was also of primary concern that gay people couldn't get married, because that would somehow sort out our current 50% divorce rate. If you ever want to get into politics, small words and homophobia will get the midwest behind you.

Besides, they don't actually know what he's up to. They've been told that disagreeing with the president is tantamount to aiding terrorism, so out of fear of treason they tune out the news they've been told is liberally biased. With no other source of news than the whitehouse, they'll do what they're told.

Equating Pres. Bush with Hitler is beyond stupid. Hitler actively murdered millions because of their religion. Pres. Bush enforeced a treaty that Saddam signed after we defeated him and Saddam would not honor. We cannot risk a dictator getting a nuke and dropping it in a major city. What is so sad is there are so many clueless people who do not acknowledge we are at war with an ideology. They do not follow the rules of warfare and attack civilians.

I do not care who we kill in a country that harbors terrorists. We have the right, as Israel does, to live as a country. Anyone that wants to attack us will get obliterated. Civilians will die in war, and there is nothing we can do. War is destruction and we must kill and break things.

We did the same crap before WWII before the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. We already had 3000 killed in 9-11 and what do we need another of these.

For all of you, I am not accusing the asker of this, if you do not like it here GET OUT. I am sick of the insults thrown at Pres Bush. I am sick of the lying to get Democrats in power. I am sick of the lazy Americans that will not work for anything and expect the ones that make something of themselves to pay for everything you want.

GET OUT, move to France, Canada, Iran, or whereever. I do not care.

You are an absolute idiot. The only one that is blind is a stupid liberal like you that can't see the truth that is really there for the ideology that you profess to believe. You haven't a damn clue. When you have actually done research instead of spouting off your moronic rhetoric, you would find that President Bush is nothing like Hitler. The only people that think so have no idea what they are talking about and are just repeating (like sheep) what they are told.

I've answered this type of question before. I think people just wish to remain ignorant or have too much pride to admit they were wrong. I just don't like it when people have such a strong opinion about something as if it's Truth and they haven't done their homework.
