The Crusades and the Inquisition occurred centuries ago. To my knowledge, there are no recent examples of forced televised conversions to Christianity or Judaism.

Don't forget that in Iraq, the government that we set up is an Islamic Republic based on Sharia Law...The previous government was secular, and the one before that was a secular democracy until we assasinated the Prime Minister and installed Saddam Hussein. Sharia Law also says that you can't stop being a muslim...they don't convert anyone unless the person wants to become a muslim. Islam does not condone Sharia law at all if you ever bothered to read the Qu'Ran, you ignorant idiot!

The took lessons from the Inquisition, upgraded for modern weaponry.
Remember that Christianity was pretty rowdy during its teenage centuries, what with the Crusades and torture and all. Islam just hit 1300, so it's getting into that teenage rebellious phase.
Given them another 700 years and they'll be just as rational and tolerant as Christianity is now.

Because coersion works so well.
No they will not be hunted down and killed, because that would make the Muslim Extremist people of their convictions and of their word...which they are not. They are cowards that hide behind women and children.
They also do not know how to make war or have a country (any country) claim them. They hide behind religion, but that is just an excuse.

Gee, I wonder if that's true about jail house Muslims, too? That would be a sight to behold. All these muslim police going into the hood to track down jail house muslims who decide to convert back. Do you think those muslim police will ever find their way out of the hood?

I love that you brought this up. I wonder that myself and am curious to whether it really even counts. I suppose it does, but I wonder that since they were basically threatened...why should any terrorist believe they really did, ya know?
It's amusing though, because now they will show this tape off, attempting to demonstrate that America is weak...and I'm sure that even Americans will believe that.

islam forbids the conversion of any other religious people to islam under fear . if you do not convert by your own well the conversion is not aceptable in islam . in my openion it was an attemp from the reporters to be alive . wat happens assure me that those who kidnapped the two reporters are idiots & are more radical muslims .
