He started this when he saw that I was IMing my friends that have been with me for years before him. He clames that I can't have IM because it drains his memory, but he has my IMs on his laptop. He has HotMail and I have Yahoo! My friends turn up on his. ???

Call the IM and have them reset the password. Then disable the auto logon feature so you have to enter the password each time you logon. Make sure to logout whenever you finish a session. Your BF won't know.

Well your boyfriend is a liar. IMs don't take up alot of memory. He is trying to control you.

Sign up under another IM name and send him one saying good bye A-- Hole.

i think he's being controlling- this is one of the signs that a guy my become an abuser later- controlling who we see, who we talk to, what we do, where we go- if any of this sounds familiar- the time to get out of this relationship is now- leave him and don't come back.

Talk to him about it. For some reason it's ok for him but not you?
That doesn't make sense there is more to it then what you think.
