How come the letters on most websites come out ridiculosly big?I know there not supposed to be that way because I've seen the sites hundreds of time before.

In Internet Explorer, click View, then Text Size. Set it to Medium and see if the problem goes away.

It has to do with your Text size setting in Internet Explorer. To fix, navigate to View -> Text Size. Click on "Medium. That might fix your problem.
This happens because of differences in coding techniques, and Internet Explorer's inability to adhere to web standards.
