I have tried going into control panel, display, and moving the slider but it will not budge from low.
I am running on windows 98 please help me!!!!

Its simple your display driver does not support the higher resolution So you hve to update your monitor's display driver.

If it will not budge from low, that means your display driver does not support higher resolutions. You can update the driver, but you may have to buy a new video card. Why don't you just get a new computer??? 4000 steps up from yours would only be $499 at Walmart for an Hp. All you have to do is finance it through Walmart's credit program, and you can make small payments on it at the store. Also, you can pay half now half later. GET WITH THE PROGRAM. Just kidding, I know what it's like.

Click on Control Panel, select 'Display' then Settings

right click on ur desktop .. properties .. settings .. and u change the nbres in screen resolution .. but u said u have a window 98 .. so im not sure if ur requested resolution .. which is possible higher than ur using . can be supported by ur pc ...



NB : Dont try that first option .. about typing format ... in command prompt ...

Right-Click your desktop and then click properties. Then click the settings tab. Then change the screen resolution! There will be a slide bar where you can change the screen resolution.

If you've tried using control panel and got nowhere then you might have to re-load your display drivers

Some VDU Drivers will only work at low resolution, try seeing if there is an alternative VDU Driver you can use with your monitor.

changes the colour to 32 bit or higher and then try the slider

Go to the video driver right click and click on update.

On the main desktop right click and go on properties then settings and u can change it on there
