Something I wrote a while back, for when I am gone:
Tempus Fugit.
Tempus Fugit - or as you know - Time Flies,
Just ten minutes more, to say ones goodbyes.
To say all those things, not said in ones life,
But now ‘tis too late, when ones on that last flight.
To have told those you loved, how much you did love,
To ask for forgiveness from Him up above.
To have paid back those favours, ones had in ones years,
To have told those behind, not to shed any tears.
For mine was a good life, a happy one too,
And who do I thank, no one else only you.
You gave me your all, the best years of your life,
You gave me our children, I thank you - my wife.
To Miranda who gave me my first grandson,
Without him, I don’t know, just what I’d have done.
To Peter who gave me, the beautiful Jane,
Since the day that she died, life was never the same.
To those who have liked me, I thank you my friends,
To those who did not, no time for amends,
So think of me kindly, just once in a while,
And whenever you do, do it with a smile.
So goodbye one and all, I wish you farewell,
‘Till we meet again, be it Heaven or Hell,
The game it is over, the last round has been played,
My final engagement – that the piper be paid.

Hmmmm...mine would be questions, some of the great unanswered ones:
1. What's the frequency, Kenneth?
2. If a tree fell in a forest and no one was there to hear it, does it really make a sound?
3. If you can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, WHY can't you pick your friends' nose?

(with all my loved ones gathered around me)
I whisper some remote location where I have left behind my invaluable ____???_______, and then I just croak!!
Hilarious, yeah, my family would get it, they would get my sense of humor.
