To be honest, i don't conjure up any picture of people. I just see their Avatar. I don't even remember what mine looks like, if i have one...short term memory today, this week, this month...ah life is bliss. What was the question?

I think that the Avatars can't be trusted. People who are unhappy with they way the look most assuredly will make an Avatar that looks like who they want to be. And even those of us who like ourselves still play out a fantasy of what we would be if we were even better than who we are.

The ones with an eye closed and teeth showing all look like they are struggling on the toilet.
Going by some of the material written here, that is clearly the case for many.

i dunno, mine looks scarily like me; seriously it's practically a mirror but not for everyone i guess because there is so much variation between individuals and not much on the avatars so you can pick and choose the closest match.
They do tend to cater for our generation though, i mean, my dad is 50 and there were no grey haired avatars last time i looked. Another thing - loads of people wear glasses but the closest you could get with the avatar is shades.

The image I see is their Avatar. I wonder if they are true likenesses or just wishful thinking for many? Do you look like yours?

I don't conjure up any image... the reason that I don't have one is that I don't want people to have a preconceived image of me, I think my posts do that on their own!!!!!
Its the people that use their own photo's that I find strange... attention seeking? exhibitionists? or just honest? I don't know... maybe all of them. Hmmn... I think I will post this one.

Hmmm..... Well I've been told I look like Bell outta Beauty and the beast, but I'm not sure if it was a compliment ???? I tried to make mine look as much as I do in real life (as far as thats possible, anyway)
